Technology Requirements
New Devices: Minimum Specs
The following specifications are applicable for all new Xavier Catholic College students and for all current students who need to upgrade or replace their device.

You may wish to consider purchasing a device with higher specifications if your child will be using this for demanding tasks in specialist subjects (such as Technologies and/or Creative Arts).
We are currently working with partners to develop a parent portal where these devices can be purchased online. Further information will be made available soon.
While not mandatory, we highly recommend purchasing Accidental Damage Protection insurance.
If your child previously purchased a device through the College's BYOD program, all warranty claims must be lodged via Acer or Dell (depending on the device). You'll need your service tag or SNID, which is located on the bottom of your Chromebook.

Each student must follow the guidelines outlined in the Information & Communications Technology Agreement, signed as a condition of enrolment.
